Flavor Changing Effects in Family Nonuniversal Z ′ Models

چکیده
Abstract Flavor-changing and CP -violating interactions of Z ′ to fermions are generally present in models with extra U(1) gauge symmetry that are string-inspired or related to broken gauged family symmetry. We study the consequences of such couplings in fermion electric dipole moments, muon g − 2, and K and B meson mixings. From experimental limits or measured values, we constrain the off-diagonal Z ′ couplings to fermions. Some of these constraints are comparable or stronger than the existing constraints obtained from other observables.

Z and Z ′ decays with and without FCNC in 331 models
In the context of the 331 models, we consider constraints on the extra neutral boson Z ′ predicted by the model, where three different quark family assignments are identified. Using the ansatz of Matsuda as an specific texture for the quark mass matrices, we obtain allowed regions associated with the Z-Z' mixing angle, the mass of the Z ′ boson and the parameter β which determines different 331...
متن کاملZ ′ , new fermions and flavor changing processes . Constraints on E 6 models from μ − →
We study a new class of flavor changing interactions, which can arise in models based on extended gauge groups (rank >4) when new charged fermions are present together with a new neutral gauge boson. We discuss the cases in which the flavor changing couplings in the new neutral current coupled to the Z ′ are theoretically expected to be large, implying that the observed suppression of neutral f...
متن کاملBroken R Parity Contributions to Flavor Changing Rates and Cp Asymmetries in Fermion Pair Production at Leptonic Colliders *
We examine the effects of the R parity odd renormalizable interactions on flavor changing rates and CP asymmetries in the production of fermion-antifermion pairs at leptonic collid-ers. In the reactions, e − + e + → f J + ¯ f J ′ , [J = J ′ ] the produced fermions may be leptons, down-quarks or up-quarks, and the center of mass energies may range from the Z-boson pole up to 1000 GeV. Off the Z-...

متن کاملFlavor changing scalar couplings and tγ(Z) production at hadron colliders
We calculate the contributions of the flavor changing scalar (FCS) couplings arised from topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) models at tree-level to the tγ and tZ production at the Tevatron and LHC experiments. We find that the production cross sections are very small at the Tevatron with √ s = 1.96TeV , which is smaller than 5 fb in most of the parameter space of TC2 models. However, the virtu...
